The World Bank remains a committed partner to Tunisia in this critical phase of transition and will continue to support the Tunisian government in its program of economic reforms during the transition, including through the budget support program supporting governance, opportunities and jobs and to stimulate a shared prosperity and reduce poverty, said Eileen Murray, resident Representative of the World Bank in Tunisia.
The World Bank remains fully engaged in Tunisia’s – current and future – investment projects, donations and technical assistance in order to address issues related to regional disparities, employment and competitiveness, she added.
