The Finance Act 2014 was adopted at a plenary session held late Sunday night.
In this law, the budget for compensation of basic food products and hydrocarbons was reduced up to 22% compared to the year 2013, Africanmanager has learnt.
This reduction will further impoverish the middle and disadvantaged classes and cause, therefore, a general displeasure with the next government.
Several MPs called, in this context, for an urgent review of this Finance Act.
