Tunisia: UNIMED announces net profit of 5 million dinars in the first half

The company UNIMED has published its interim financial statements closed on June 30, 2020. These statements show a net profit of 5 million dinars, compared to 5.7 million in June 2020, down 12.4%.

At the end of the first half of the year, the company achieved revenues of around 40.6 million dinars, compared to 45.6 million a year earlier, a decline of 11%.

Operating expenses rose from 36.1 million dinars at the end of June 2020 to 33.1 million last June 30, down 8.3%, including 17.7 million dinars of purchases of supplies consumed.

As a result, the operating result came out in a 20.3% drop compared to the first half of last year to 7.5 million dinars.

The net financial expenses for the period stand at nearly 1.5 million dinars, compared to nearly 2 million a year earlier.
