Tunisia: Despite rainfall, level of dams is falling

The filling rate of dams has fallen again, to 23.1%, compared with 23.3% a few days ago, according to a report published by the National Agricultural Observatory (ONAGRI) on September 12,

However, the filling rate of the largest dams has improved and is now back above 50% after being below 40% throughout August. It is currently fluctuating between 3% and 53%.

Water reserves in Tunisian dams are 7.08 million m3 (-23.30%) below the seasonal average for the period, having reached 23.32 million m3 compared with 30.40 million m3.
