Under the sign of innovation, the sixth edition of the National Competition for Best Packaging “Tunisia Star Pack 2012”, organized by the Technical Center of Packing and Packaging, will be open to all primary, secondary or tertiary packaging for food, cosmetic / pharmaceutical and chemical products. Packaging accessories, packaging materials and systems are also covered by this contest which targets manufacturing companies and users of packaging as well as specialized communications agencies.
Like the previous editions, products in competition will be evaluated by a jury and representative of the packaging industry, representing government agencies and supermarkets.
Packages may compete in two sections. In the first:”Creativity and Innovation” packages will be judged on the innovative aspects in the promotion and sales and in the second section the technical aspects will be privileged.
Next to the “Tunisia Star Pack” attributed to packaging, two Jury President’s Awards will be granted to two packages with the best score for both sections of the competition.
A Special Prize “Sustainable Packaging” will be awarded to the project that took into account the various parameters related to sustainable development in each section.
It should be noted that in addition to the wide promotion to be benefitted by the winners, they will have the opportunity to participate in the world competition for best packaging “World Star for Packaging” organized by the World Packaging Organization (WPO).
