120 communitarian enterprises with funding estimated at 9 million dinars have been registered in the National Business Register, since the introduction of this new business model in Tunisia in 2022, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Riadh Chaoued, told the joint plenary session dedicated to discussing the ministry’s budget for 2025, reports Mosaique FM.
The minister said that introducing a new business model is not an easy task and requires a change of mentality and approach.
He also pointed out that many newly created communitarian enterprises have not yet started operating effectively due to various problems.
