In 2024, Magasin Général’s turnover picked up by 5.8% to 1,041 million dinars, compared to 984.5 million dinars in the previous year.
Purchases of goods sold also increased by 6.5% between December 2023 and December 2024, from 826 million dinars to 880 million dinars.
Financial expenses fell by 25% to 24.8 million dinars at the end of December, compared to 33 million dinars at December 31, 2023.
Financial income decreased from 14.1 million dinars to 12.2 million dinars, a decrease of 13.2%.
Personnel expenses rose from 77.6 million dinars to 83.7 million dinars, an increase of 7.8%. The ratio of payroll to sales (excluding VAT) increased from 7.88% to 8.04%.
In addition, Magasin Général had 103 stores by the end of 2024.
