Tunisia: SIAME placed under judicial supervision

The Société Industrielle d’Appareillage et de Matériels Electriques (SIAME) announced that, on June 16, 2025, the Investigating Judge ordered several companies, including SIAME, to be placed under judicial supervision.

According to an order issued by the Tunis First Instance Court on the same date, three court-appointed administrators were designated: Ms. Nour El Houda Abbassi, Mr. Mondher Hamdi and Mr. Bilel Errahmouni.

Furthermore, in order to ensure the continuity of its operations and fulfill its obligations to clients, suppliers, employees, and all its partners, SIAME submitted a request to the Investigating Judge to lift the freeze on its accounts.

On June 27, 2025, the Investigating Judge granted the request, lifting the freeze on SIAME’s accounts to allow the company to continue operating under normal conditions.

It is worth noting that 20.7% of SIAME’s capital is held by Mr. Hédi Ben Ayed, while 23% is held by the three companies COTUNAL, INTERMETAL, and PROSID.
