Director of the “Self-Entrepreneur” project at the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, Mohamed Kéfi Rahmani, announced on Thursday in Midi Eco that the number of members registered on the platform autoentrepreneur.tn is “increasing slowly but surely.”
He added that the project aims to reach 25,000 members in its first year, with the current number standing at 3,300, including 700 in July and 400 in August.
Mohamed Kéfi Rahmani stressed that the number of members rises after each amendment to the decree establishing the “Self-Entrepreneur” project, due to the inclusion of independent workers (freelancers) and the simplification of procedures.
He also revealed that “self-entrepreneurs” can benefit from an additional financing line of 15,000 dinars, with only 5,000 dinars in interest, payable over seven years, and no repayment required during the first two years.
