Aeronautics: CETIME and GITAS sign partnership agreement

A strategic partnership agreement aimed at supporting the development of the aeronautics and aerospace sector in Tunisia has been signed between the Technical Centre for Mechanical and Electrical Industries (CETIME) and the Tunisian Aeronautics and Aerospace Industries Group (GITAS).

Signed by CETIME Director General Noureddine Guizani and GITAS President Stéphanie Sonia Dallali, the agreement formalizes an already active collaboration on the ground, according to CETIME.

The convention fully aligns with the orientations of the national industrial strategy toward 2035, CETIME stated.

It is based on several major axes, including strengthening innovation and research and development, consolidating industrial value chains, developing skills through specialized training, and promoting ecological and energy transition.

The goal is to stimulate high value-added investment and position Tunisia as a competitive regional aeronautics platform focused on export, innovation, and sustainability.

Through this partnership, CETIME and GITAS commit to sharing expertise and best practices, encouraging open innovation, integrating sustainability standards, and strengthening synergies within the national industrial ecosystem.
