Tunisia: 2022 bond issue will raise 1.4 billion dinars

The subscription to the 2022 national bond issue will be open to all citizens, and its 4 operations will provide Tunisia with about 1.4 billion dinars, said financial analyst Bassem Neifer.

Speaking on Express FM, he recalled that half of the amount collected through subscriptions to the 2021 national bond issue was generated by the banking sector (22%), insurance companies (11%), noting that 10% of subscription operations were made by non-financial companies.

He said that it is expected that the subscription to the national bond issue will be successful in 2022.

Subscriptions to the first tranche of the 2022 national bond issue will open between March 3 and 16, 2022.

The amount of this loan is set at 350 million dinars, according to the decree of the Minister of Finance of February 18, 2022 on the characteristics and conditions of issuance of the first tranche of the national bond 2022 published in the Official Gazette (JORT) of February 18.
