Tunisian olive oil brand Terra Delyssa enters Nigerian market

CIBA Hospitality Limited has officially introduced Terra Delyssa extra virgin olive oil from Tunisia to the Nigerian market.

Speaking during the launch event in Lagos, the company’s Executive Director, Ade Adegbite, said the product is made from a blend of Chemlali and Chetoui olives, with Chemlali serving as the primary variety.

The Terra Delyssa range is being introduced in four variants: Smooth Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Lemon, Garlic, and Chili Pepper flavors.

Adegbite explained that the distribution strategy will initially target supermarkets and shopping malls, including Justrite and Spar, while also relying on e-commerce platforms and direct sales channels to strengthen market penetration.

He added that the rollout will begin in Lagos and Abuja before expanding to other regions across Nigeria.

“At Terra Delyssa, transparency is at the heart of everything we do. Every bottle tells a story, from the careful harvest in our groves through meticulous milling and analysis to the final bottling,” Adegbite said.

He noted that consumers can scan the QR code printed on each bottle to trace the product’s journey from orchard to table and access information related to its origin, quality, and authenticity.

Terra Delyssa was founded in 1996 by the CHO Group, a major integrated player in the olive oil industry operating across branded products, private-label manufacturing, and bulk production.

The group oversees the entire production chain, from cultivation to bottling, to ensure quality, traceability, and sustainable growth.
