The number of Internet subscribers in Tunisia went up from 635,756 in 2010 to 858,247 in 2011 and 968,025 in 2012, according to latest figures of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies.
Regarding the number of computers per capita, the same source notes that a significant increase was also recorded.
The penetration rate for personal computers is 15 per 100 inhabitants in 2012, compared with 5.7 per 100 inhabitants in 2005.
