Attijari Bank recorded an increase of 7.5% in its outstanding deposits in 2023, crossing the threshold of 10 billion dinars (to 10.045 billion dinars).
This growth affected all deposits, but sight deposits (+6.5% to 4.58 billion dinars) and savings deposits (+9.2% to 3.3 billion dinars) were the most dynamic.
Outstanding loans exceeded the 7 billion dinar mark.
In operational terms, the bank’s net banking income improved significantly, rising by 133% to 651.5 million dinars. This double-digit increase was mainly driven by the 20% improvement in the interest margin to 346.7 million dinars, which now represents more than 53% of NBI.
Operating expenses increased by 10% to 310.5 million dinars, at a slower pace than NBI, with the cost/income ratio improving by 1.4 points to 47.6% from 49% in 2022. As a result, the consolidated gross operating income is expected to increase by 16% to 351.7 million dinars compared to 2022.
