Congo: AFRAA gets new President

Managing Director of Equatorial Congo Airlines (ECAir) Fatima Benyina-Moussa has been named the new President of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA).

Ms. Benyina-Moussa emerged as President of the continental body at the close of its 46th general meeting, recently organised by Air Algérie.

A graduate of HEC Montreal with an MBA from the University of Ottawa, she has headed the national airline of Congo since its inception in 2011.

Next November, ECAir will host the 47th annual general meeting of AFRAA in Brazzaville.

PANA reports that AFRAA was established in 1968 in Accra, Ghana, to promote the common interests of African airlines. It currently has 40 members
