Congo: Congo to participate in Dubai Economic Forum

The Congolese government will take part on next April’s Dubai Economic Forum, according to the minister of Special Economic Zones (ZES), Alain Akouala Atipault.

During the Dubai forum, the Congolese minister will present international investors taking part in the event, with opportunities offered by the ZES.

Congo’s invitation was delivered on Wednesday by the managing director of the Dubai annual conference, Walid Forghal, who is on a visit to Brazzaville.

“We have been invited to take part in the Dubai economic forum, due for April. This will be the opportunity for us to make a full presentation on the processes of Congo’s special economic zones,” said Atipault.

The forum would also be a platform to share views between participants and investors and Atipault said, adding that he would use the opportunity to establish contacts with the host country, which could end with the conclusion of economic partnerships with both public and private institutions.
