The French ambassador to Tunisia, Anne Guéguen, has confirmed that Tunisian-French cooperation in the health sector is longstanding and solid.
On the sidelines of the first joint Tunisian-Libyan-French health development forum, the ambassador mentioned a French financing program for the Sidi Bouzid and Gafsa hospitals, as well as the financing of a digital health project to strengthen health services in the interior.
She also pointed out that cooperation between Tunisia and France is continuing in the pharmaceutical sector, confirming that there are new French companies that have begun to set up investment projects in Tunisia during the current year due to the existence of high skills in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
