The Congolese minister of Small- and Medium-seized companies and Craft Industry, Mrs Yvonne Adélaïde Mougany, on Wednesday called on German companies to invest in Congo following the enabling business environment in her country.
“The enabling business environment followed an agreement, signed a year ago in Germany, under which businesses on both sides will be protected,” Mrs Mougany said while exchanging views with German parliamentarians who are currently visiting Brazzaville, the Congolese capital.
She added Congo was counting on business support from Germany, which has 20 years of experience in socio-liberal economy, and whose Small- and Medium-seized companies were among the most effective in the world.
Responding, the head of the German delegation, Hartwig Fischer, said: “My country is willing to establish partnership with Congo with a view to contributing to the promotion of small- and medium-seized companies and the craft industry in the African country.”
