Gulf investors are interested in the Tunisian Sugar Company in Beja (STS). They have already expressed their intention to partner in this project, said Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Riadh Bettaieb.
These investors have also expressed interest in developing the sugar beet industry in Tunisia.
They said they want to reach 50% of production within 3 years.
The STS has recorded a deficit of around 6 million dinars, according to the minister.
