The market capitalization held by foreigners on the Tunis Stock Exchange reached nearly 5.879 million dinars (MD) in August 2020 representing 25.79% of the overall market capitalization, according to the monthly letter published by the Tunis Stock Exchange.
The acquisitions made in August 2020 by foreigners on listed securities totaled an amount of 1.399 MD, against sales (sale) of 24.110 MD, which showed a negative net balance of 22.711 MD.
The stock market in Tunisia has, to date, 80 listed companies, including 13 on the alternative market and 67 on the main market. It has not seen any listing since 2018.
