Mena nuke construction ‘worth $300bn’

The Mena nuclear construction industry is valued at $300 billion with projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt rapidly progressing, said the organisers of an upcoming construction event in Dubai.

The third annual Mena Nuclear Construction Conference is set to take place on September 25 and 26 at the Le Meridien Hotel.

Organised by Nuclear Energy Insider, the event will offer opportunities to more than 300 nuclear decision makers from the Mena region to build partnerships with contractors and suppliers.

The event will showcase more than 20 regional and international nuclear utilities detailing projects in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and Turkey.

The event will also highlight buyer’s view of supply chain development including technology selection, contractor partnerships and construction scheduling.

Exclusive deployment case studies from KA CARE, Jordan’s Majdal plant, Egypt’s 1st NPP, Turkish BOO model, Romania’s Cerdanova construction project and Korea’s Shin-Kori, among others will also be featured.
