The Romanian airline AnimaWings will launch charter flights on the Monastir-Brașov route starting June 6, 2025.
According to an announcement by Brașov Airport, the flights will operate every Friday, bringing AnimaWings’ total weekly charter flights from Brașov Airport to three, including routes to Heraklion (Crete), Antalya (Turkey), and Monastir. All flights are set to begin in early June.
Despite a slow start, activity at Brașov Airport, Romania’s newest airport is picking up in anticipation of the summer tourist season.
Last week, Moldovan airline HiSky announced the launch of three weekly charter flights from Brașov Airport to the island of Crete, starting June 9, 2025, with connections to Chania (Crete) and Heraklion airports.
