Senegal: Gambia to host digital summit

The Gambia is billed to host ”Annual Innovation Africa Digital (IAD) Summit” which will run from 25-27 March, organisers have announced.

The summit, which is the 12 edition in the series, is expected to bring together some 300 participants, made up of ministers and Africa’s telecom leaders.

The summit will revolve around the theme: ‘Quality of Service and Customer Experience’.

The meeting is jointly organised by the Gambian government and Extensia Ltd – an international firm that promotes Information Communication Technology(ICT) in Africa.

“The summit has run every year without break for the past 11 years and is widely acclaimed as the best place to do business and meet top decision-makers in the African telecoms and ICT space”, Extensia Ltd highlighted in a press release.

“This year’s event seeks to support the most pressing agenda facing stakeholders in the development of the ICT sector and its need to improve quality of service from policy to regulation.”
