Integrated telecommunications services provider Telkom Kenya has appointed Ms. Maureen Sande as its Chief Corporate Communications Officer.
According to a statement from the company Wednesday, Ms. Sande brings a wealth of experience and talent to her new posting with the company.
“Maureen comes to us with more than 10 years experience in the Corporate Communications profession, Sponsorships and CSR fields,” said company Chief Executive Officer Mickael Ghossein. “As our new principal PR officer, we will look to her to enhance our Communications function and to interface with our stakeholders to help better address mutual concerns.”
Ms. Sande previously worked with British American Tobacco as its Head of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility (East & Central Africa). She has also worked for UNAIDS and Ogilvy Public Relations Kenya, in various capacities in the Public Relations field.
