The Council of Ministers of the West African Monetary Union has re-appointed Mr. Chistian Adovelande, President of the West African Development Bank (WADB), for another term of 6 years.
Also, Vice-president Bassary Touré’s term was renewed for another 5 years by the Board of Directors who met in Dakar, Senegal, in June.
Established on 14 Nov. 1973, WADB is the common development finance institution for the eight member countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU).
