A meeting was held on March 4, 2026, between the Tunisian delegation participating in the ITB Berlin International Tourism Fair, led by Mohamed Mehdi Haloui, Director General of the Tunisian National Tourist Office (ONTT), and Sebastian Ebel, CEO of the TUI Group.
During the meeting, Ebel reaffirmed the group’s commitment to expanding its activities in Tunisia and launching new investment projects in the country, following the success of its current operations.
These include the management of 13 hotels, as well as the planned acquisition of a hotel in Tozeur in 2025.
Ebel also highlighted Tunisia’s competitiveness as a tourist destination, stressing the high quality of services offered compared to their prices.
