Tunisair increases its flights to Europe

National flag carrier “Tunisair” has increased from October 30, 2011, its frequencies in France, offering a fifth daily flight to Paris from Tunis, or 35 flights per week and five flights from Monastir every Monday.

In a statement released Thursday, Tunisair announced the strengthening of its regular program to Europe (from October 30 to March 24, 2012.)

Toulouse will now be served by one daily, Marseilles by 11 weekly flights and Lyon by eight flights a week.

The number of flights has been increased to nine per week to Nice (two new flights every Thursday) and 5 to Nantes (a new frequency, Saturday). Moreover, Tunisair will connect the island of Djerba and Lyon (3 flights a week thanks to a new frequency, Sunday), Nantes (2 flights, Thursday and Sunday) and Strasbourg (2 flights on Monday and Friday).

The company will serve Milan (Italy) at a rate of nine weekly flights and London (Great Britain), 5 weekly flights from Tunis (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Tunisair also flights every Saturday from Monastir to Manchester.

Due to strong demand on the Swiss market, it strengthens the connection with Zurich by a third frequency. Now the destination will be served from Tunis on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

In addition, the airline plans to serve the city of Bilbao, capital of the Basque province (Spain), every Monday.
