A Tunisair plane carrying medical supplies, on Sunday, left the Chinese city of Chengdu.
It is expected to land in Tunis after a 23-hours flight, the company said in a statement.
This is the fourth flight between Tunisia and China by the national carrier to bring medical supplies, deemed necessary to stem the coronavirus pandemic.
Besides these efforts, Tunisair has repatriated, since the closure of the airspace, Tunisian nationals stranded abroad, the same statement reads.
