The number of reported projects in industry decreased by 12.7%, according to the Agency for Promotion of Industry and Innovation, from 1,500 projects during the first four months of 2012 to 1310 units during the same period year in 2013.
As a result, the number of job positions was down 12.8% to 22,949 jobs in 2013, TAP news agency reported.
Reported investments in the industrial sector, however, reached 1,490.4 MD during the first four months of 2013, up 21.2% compared to the same period last year, according to the sectoral report of APII.
