Tunisia is ranked second in the Arab world in the production of renewable energy, according to a report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stating that it produces 4% of electricity using energy renewable.
The same source said Morocco has the lead with a production of 5%. The Arab world is among the parties that invest the least in this area knowing that renewables had contributed 19% of world energy consumption in 2013.
It is recalled that the volume of investment in renewable energy internationally is estimated at 214 billion dollars.
