Tunisia and Algeria have reached an agreement to build a pipeline carrying Algerian gas to inland regions via Sakiet Sidi Youssef.
Tunisian Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining, Kamel Ben Naceur said the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (STEG) and its counterpart in Algeria have already begun technical studies of the project pending the signing of the final agreement by the two countries.
