Tunisia, 2nd client of African Development Bank

The African Development Bank (AfDB) has mobilized €8.4 billion for Tunisia from the start of its operations in 1967 to date, according to the institution’s figures, published on the sidelines of its Annual Meetings.

Tunisia is now the institution’s second-largest customer on the continent, after Morocco (€11.3 billion) and ahead of Nigeria (€7.6 billion), Egypt (€6.3 billion) and South Africa (€4.7 billion), which round off the top 5 partners.

This level of commitment testifies to the quality and intensity of the partnership between Tunisia and the African Development Bank, through the financing of projects in all sectors.
