Tunisia: 30 handicraft companies to take part in international exhibitions (ONA)

Thirty Tunisian handicrafts companies will take part in major international events next January and February, announced the National Handicrafts Board (ONA).

These professional exhibitions specialized in handicrafts and art craft and dedicated to home fashion are: the Paris “Maison et Objet,” the Frankfurt “Heïmtextil and Ambiente,” and the Milan “Macef,” specified ONA in a statement released on Monday in Tunis.

These events, which will host no less than 5,000 exhibitors and attract more than 100,000 visitors from all over the world, represent an exceptional opportunity for Tunisian craftsmen to establish contacts with foreign operators and conquer foreign outlets.

The selected companies to take part in these exhibitions are called to present brand new collection meeting the specifics of the foreign markets.

Besides, ONA will organize training days in marketing design and strategy from November 22 to 26, 2011, under the theme of “New Trends 2012-2013 in Colors, Materials and Collections.”

These training days are part of a new strategy to guide professionals in order to improve their competitiveness and optimize commercial opportunities.

This training provided by Tunisian and foreign experts aims to assist them to design collections that fit in the new trends of the European market.
