Tunisia: 30% of state resources will come from debt

Economic expert and member of the National Constituent Assembly, Moncef Cheikh Rouhou criticized the draft state budget for 2014, noting that 30% of state resources will come from debt, against own resources estimated only at 70%.

He said, moreover, that more than 60% of the budget will be allocated to operating expenses, against only 20% for development projects and 17% for debt service.

Moncef Cheikh Rouhou called, in this context, for the revision of government policies which should be at the service of the Tunisian economy.
