According to statistics provided by the local tourism commission, 7,792 tourists flocked to the region of Kebili during the first 10 days of August and spent 8,101 nights in various hotel units.
The Russian market is in first place with the governorate of Kebili attracting during that period 1,831 Russian tourists, followed by the French market with 980 tourists and 997 nights spent in the region.
On the other hand, statistics show that despite the decline in the influx of certain nationalities to the region compared with the same period last year, like German tourists, other nationalities have doubled in terms of inflows to the region, besides the improvement in domestic tourism indicators during the same period.
