Tunisia: private agricultural investment up 20%

Private agricultural investment categories “B” and “C” approved by the Agency for Agricultural Investment Promotion (APIA) until July 2014 posted a 20.1% increase compared to the same period in 2013, said the latest figures from the APIA.

The total value of these investments amounted to 337.6 million Tunisian dinars (MTD) against 281.1 MTD in 2013.

These investments will create more than 3,000 permanent jobs, including nearly 230 for university graduates against 2,685 jobs including 135 in favor of this category of graduates in 2013.
