Abdellatif Hmam, Director General of the National Office of Tunisian Tourism (ONTT) expects a 10% increase in the flow of Algerian tourists throughout the year.
He estimated the number of Algerians should reach 500 million, which will make Algeria the first market, knowing that the number reached 1 million and 280 thousand in 2014.
In an exclusive interview with African Manager, he said that the Tunisian professionals have understood the need to treat the Algerian market as a mature market and its specific needs. “This is why we decided to invest in an advertising campaign dedicated to the Algerian market,” he added.
