Tunisia: Air Malta to add weekly flight to Djerba

Air Malta announced on Thursday that it will be increasing an additional weekly frequency between Malta and the Tunisian island of Djerba with effect from Sept. 16.

This means it will operate three weekly flights to/from the Djerba-Zarzis International Airport.

Deputy Chief Commercial Officer of Air Malta Joe Galea said: “The increase in frequency to Djerba is another important step in our efforts to continue assisting and facilitating travel between both countries following the increased passenger demand from this airport due to the situation in Libya.”

He added that this decision was taken following the increase in demand registered since Air Malta re-started air services to Tunisia last month.
