Amen Bank has just published its financial statements as at December 31, 2022 as they will be submitted for approval to the Ordinary General Meeting to be held on 27 April 2023.
These statements show a net profit of 155 million dinars, compared to 129.6 million a year earlier, i.e. a growth of about 19.5%. This is the highest annual profit in the bank’s history.
The bank achieved an operating income of 984.8 million dinars, against 873.7 million in 2021, recording an increase of 13%. As for operating expenses, they amounted to 490 million dinars, against 419.5 million a year earlier, i.e. an increase of 17%.
Consequently, the Net Banking Income (NBI) rose by 9% to 495 million dinars.
Despite a 13% increase in risk costs to 115.6 million dinars and an 8% increase in personnel costs to 140.4 million dinars, the bank saw its operating result rise by 17% to 179.5 million dinars.
