Tunisia: Amen Bank improves its NBI by 22% to 357 million dinars in 2017

Amen Bank has just published its activity indicators for the last quarter of 2017. The bank has announced that it has achieved a Net Banking Income of 357.6 million dinars against 293.9 million in 2016, i.e. an increase of 21.7%.

Customer loans, net of provisions and reserved agios, rose from 5.89 billion dinars at the end of December 2016 to 6 billion at the same date in 2017, recording an increase of 185.6 million dinars.
Deposits and assets of customers stood at 5.13 billion dinars, up 19.8 million dinars.

Long-term resources from loans and special resources amounted to 965.5 million dinars, an increase of 51 million dinars.

This change is mainly due to the issuance of two loans by Amen Bank for 80 million dinars and new drawings on the outside lines mitigated by the regulations of the period.
Banking operating income was 14.9% higher than in 2016. Banking operating expenses have increased by 28.9 million dinars to 356.8 million at the end of last December.
