The Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments (APIA) and the Mediterranean Renewable Energy Center (MEDREC) signed, Thursday in Tunis, a framework partnership agreement, focusing on energy saving, sustainable development and fighting climate change.
It provides for fostering energy saving, energy transition and sustainable development through the use of renewable energy in the agricultural sector and fighting climate change, the APIA said.
The agreement seeks to devise a development plan by using renewable energy in the agricultural sector, strengthening APIA’s capacities in terms of studies, project evaluation and formulating funding requests from donors.
