Tunisia: ASSAD’s sales up 17% in the first half

Revenues of batteries producing company ASSAD grew by 17% at June 30, 2018, compared to the same period a year earlier, from 35.3 to 41.3 million dinars.

This performance was driven by the export market whose turnover increased by 13.8% compared to the first half of last year to 27.7 million dinars.

On the local market, the turnover has risen by 29.9% compared to the first half of 2017. Therefore, the turnover went up from 10.9 to 13.5 million dinars.

Production in that period slightly decreased (-1%) compared to 30/06/2017.

Regarding investments, they were of the order of 1.9 million dinars.

In addition, the total debt of the company decreased by 11.9% compared to the first half of 2017 and now stands at 50.4 million dinars.
