Tunisia: ATB increases its NBI by 11% at end September to 193 million

The Arab Tunisian Bank (ATB) has just released its activity indicators for the third quarter of the current year showing a Net Banking Income (NBI) up 11%.

At the end of the first nine months of the year, net credits of provisions and reserved agios reached 4.18 billion dinars against 3.87 billion a year earlier, up 8%.

Customer deposits reached 4.27 billion dinars against 4.39 billion dinars at the end of September 2017.

As for the commercial securities portfolio, it amounted to 891.9 million dinars against 1 billion dinars at the end of September 2017, a decrease of 116.7 million dinars.

The investment securities portfolio increased from 483.1 million dinars to 488.2 million between September 2017 and September 2018, up 5.1 million.

Bank operating income rose 23.31 percent to 394.1 million dinars from 319.6 million a year earlier, while bank operating expenses reached 200.9 million dinars, up 55.3 million.

Net banking income at the end of September 2018 was 193.2 million dinars, compared with 174 million for the same period of 2017, an 11% increase.
