Tunisia: Bassam Loukil estimates to 40% country’s losses in industry due to coronavirus

President of Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC), Bassam Loukil, said that the coronavirus that appeared in China has negatively impacted the Tunisian-Chinese market at the level of industrial production.

In a statement on Monday to African manager ar , he said that the fallout concerns the lack of components and raw materials, to the point that production lines are temporarily closing down as a result of this crisis.

Bassam Loukil predicts that Tunisian industry will suffer losses of between 30 and 40% of its production capacity over the next six months.
