The Tunisian Board of packaged olive oil has adopted its program to promote the olive oil sector in respect of 2016, for a total budget estimated at 1.6 million Tunisian dinars (MTD) against 1.2 MTD in 2015, the Ministry of industry announced in a statement published Thursday in Tunis.
This program presented Wednesday at the 20th meeting of the Board of packaged olive oil, aims to strengthen the participation of Tunisia in international fairs and events, such as the “SIAL CHINA “, to be held from May 5 to 7? 2016, and the “Summer Fancy Food Show” in New York, USA, from June 26 to 28, 2016.
The ministry said 34 Tunisian companies operating in the agribusiness sector (including 16 companies in the field of olive oil) have confirmed their participation at this fair, considered the main event in North America.
Tunisia takes part in this edition as a privileged partner.
