The Executive Board of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), which met Wednesday, October 5, 2022, decided to raise the key rate of the bank by 25 basis points to 7.25%.
As a result, the deposit and marginal lending facilities at 24 hours are raised to 6.25% and 8.25% respectively. This decision will be effective as of October 6, 2022.
The Executive Board also decided to raise the savings rate by 25 basis points to 6.25%.
