Carthage Cement has managed to maintain the upward trend of its turnover, at the end of the first half of 2022, all activities included. The turnover reached a total of 168.6 million dinars on June 30, 2022, against 163.8 million dinars on June 30, 2021, i.e. an increase of 3%.
The total turnover of the cement activity (Cement and clinker) has increased by 2.6% between the first half of 2022 and the first half of 2021, despite the impact related to the difficulties of supply and the surge in the price of petroleum coke following the disruptions recorded internationally, since the beginning of the crisis in Ukraine.
The turnover on the export market has been maintained at 26.3 million dinars at the end of the first half of 2022, up 1% compared to 2021. The turnover on the local market has risen by 3% from 123 million dinars in the first half of 2021 to 127 million in 2022.
Carthage Cement has managed to maintain its position as a leader in the sector, at the end of this first half of 2022.
In addition, the debt continues to fall to 398 million dinars at the end of last June, against 412.7 million at the end of December 2021, a decrease of 3.5%.
