CELLCOM has published its interim financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2022.
These show a net loss of 3.3 million dinars, compared with a profit of TND 10,000, at the end of 2021.
The company, better known under the brand name Evertek, generated revenues of TND 62.2 million in 2022, compared to TND 66.4 million in the same period of the previous year, a decrease of 6.3%.
Operating expenses amounted to TND 62.7 million compared to TND 64.7 million at the end of December 2022.
These costs mainly consist of the cost of goods sold (TND 52.2 million), depreciation and provisions (TND 2.1 million) and personnel costs (TND 2.9 million).
This resulted in an operating loss for the period of TND 336,000, compared to a profit of TND 1.7 million at the end of 2021.
The company’s net financial expenses reached TND 2.6 million, at the end of 2022, compared to TND 1.5 million, a year earlier, an increase of 73%.
