CELLCOM has released its financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, which are set to be submitted for approval at the Ordinary General Assembly scheduled for June 30, 2024.
The figures highlight a notable improvement in the company’s financial performance compared to the previous year.
In 2024, CELLCOM’s revenues reached TND 62.5 million, posting an increase of nearly 18% from the TND 53 million recorded in 2023.
This revenue growth reflects sustained commercial momentum in an economic environment still marked by challenges.
However, this revenue increase was accompanied by a rise in the cost of goods sold, which totaled TND 55.9 million in 2024, compared to TND 47.6 million in 2023. Despite the increase in operating costs, the company maintained its gross margin.
Personnel expenses dropped significantly, from TND 2.8 million in 2023 to TND 2 million in 2024, reflecting a strategy of streamlined human resource management.
Conversely, net financial expenses slightly increased to TND 1.45 million in 2024, up from TND 1.25 million the previous year, indicating a more costly financing environment.
Despite these mixed elements, CELLCOM’s net profit soared to TND 851,000 in 2024, compared to just TND 46,000 in 2023. This sharp increase reflects improved net profitability and better cost control.
