Declared investments in the services sector increased by 51.5% in 2025, reaching TND 1,687.8 million.
Similarly, the number of declared projects rose from 11,402 in 2024 to 15,283 in 2025, supporting the creation of 58,720 jobs (compared with 34,926 in 2024), according to the Economic Bulletin of the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII), published on Wednesday.
For services investments targeting the local market, the total was estimated at TND 1,644 million in 2025, expected to generate 14,081 projects and 55,477 new jobs.
Investments in fully export-oriented service activities, however, reached only TND 43.9 million, with 1,202 projects and 3,243 jobs declared.
It is notable that investments declared by Tunisians in 2025 accounted for 92% of total declared investments in the services sector.
Regarding projects with foreign participation, the number increased by 11.3% in 2025, reaching 1,566 projects with total investments of TND 134 million.
